Outdoor Rugs — Product & Care

The rugs are woven from heavy duty flat plastic straws made from 100% recycled plastic. Each end is finished with heavy duty cotton binding tape, securely stitched for extra strength and durability.

Sizes are available on request as part of the trade catalogue. Standard sizes range from small accent sizes up to large outdoor formats. Submit a catalogue enquiry with your required sizes and our team will confirm availability.

Yes. All Green Decore outdoor rugs are fully reversible, giving you two design looks from a single product — a useful selling point for retail buyers.

Yes. The polypropylene construction makes the rugs fully waterproof. They will not grow mould or mildew when exposed to water, which strengthens their durability in outdoor settings.

The rugs are very easy to maintain. Shake off loose dirt, vacuum, wipe with a dry or damp cloth, or wash with a garden hose or in a bathtub. No specialist cleaning products required.

The rugs are UV-treated to resist colour fade from sunlight exposure, making them well suited to patios, terraces and outdoor retail display areas.

No. The rugs should not curl at the edges. The construction includes a tighter weave along each edge to prevent unravelling and curling.

The rugs have a jute backing which provides grip on most surfaces. For smooth hard surfaces such as tiles or decking, we recommend a non-slip rug pad beneath for added stability.

We do not recommend cutting the rugs. The edges are finished with bound tape that prevents unravelling — cutting would compromise this and cause the rug to fray.

Yes. All rugs come with a 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.

No. Green Decore outdoor rugs are not chemically treated. The recycled plastic construction is inherently durable without the need for additional chemical finishes.

No. The rug is woven from smooth, flat plastic straws with nothing to shed. It will not leave plastic fragments on your floor or in outdoor spaces.

Yes. The waterproof, UV-resistant, mould-resistant construction makes these rugs well suited for decks and balconies as well as patios and terraces.

Yes. The rugs can be left outdoors in all weather. After heavy rain, hanging them briefly to dry is recommended before laying flat again. They are built for year-round outdoor use.

Trade Supply & Ordering

Green Decore is a trade-only supplier. We work with retailers, garden centres, hospitality buyers, leisure operators and distributors. This site is designed for qualified trade buyers — it is not a consumer-facing shop.

We operate a catalogue-led, quote-first model. Browse the design ranges on this site, request the full 2026–2027 catalogue, submit a trade enquiry with your buyer type and estimated volume, and our team will respond with pricing, size options and availability.

GD codes are the catalogue reference numbers assigned to every design in the Green Decore range. For example, GD-001 refers to the first geometric design in the catalogue. Using GD codes when placing or reordering makes the process clear and traceable for both parties.

Minimum order quantities vary by product and design. Details are provided when you submit a catalogue enquiry. We do not publish MOQs on the site as they depend on your specific design and size requirements.

Click 'Request Catalogue' in the navigation or visit greendecore.com/pages/quote. Fill in your buyer type, delivery market and estimated volume and our team will share full catalogue access.

We aim to respond to all trade enquiries within one working day, Monday to Friday. Our UK trade team is based in London.

Sustainability & Eco Credentials

Every Green Decore outdoor rug is woven from flat plastic straws made entirely from post-consumer recycled plastic — primarily plastic bottles. No virgin plastic is used in the construction. This means each rug diverts plastic from landfill and gives it a functional second life.

Yes. At the end of its useful life, the rug can be recycled again. This makes it a genuinely circular product — made from recycled plastic and recyclable once it is no longer needed.

No. The rugs are not chemically treated. The inherent properties of the polypropylene and recycled plastic construction provide the durability, UV resistance and waterproofing without additional chemical finishes.

No. By sourcing from post-consumer recycled materials, the rugs actively reduce plastic waste rather than adding to it. The made-to-order supply model also means no unsold inventory or excess stock is produced.

We are committed to responsible manufacturing. The made-to-order approach means we only produce what is ordered, eliminating overstock and waste in the supply chain.

Yes. Trade buyers are welcome to use the recycled plastic credentials and sustainability story in their own retail and marketing materials. This is a key differentiator for buyers looking to strengthen their eco offer.

Accreditation details are available on request. Please include this in your trade enquiry if it is relevant to your buyer or compliance requirements.

Camping & Glamping Rugs

The camping and glamping range is specifically designed for outdoor leisure use — lighter weight, more compact when rolled, and suited to pitches, pods and transient outdoor settings. The design language also leans towards playful, nature-inspired prints that work well in leisure contexts.

Yes. The rugs are well suited to glamping interiors, shepherd's huts, bell tents and similar outdoor hospitality settings. Their weather-resistant, easy-clean properties make them practical for high-turnover environments.

Options with peg loops are available in the camping range, allowing the rug to be secured to the ground on pitches. Please specify this requirement in your catalogue enquiry.

The rugs roll compactly and are lightweight enough for easy transport — an important practical feature for camping retail and the leisure buyers stocking them.

Yes. The recycled plastic flatweave construction means the rugs sit flat on uneven surfaces and can be used directly on grass pitches without damage to the rug or the ground beneath.

The camping and glamping range is designed for camping retailers, glamping site operators, caravan and motorhome accessory distributors, and outdoor leisure equipment buyers.

The camping range includes playful prints such as fruits, fauna, sea creatures and nautical designs, as well as classic stripe colourways. Full design listings with GD codes are available in the 2026–2027 trade catalogue on request.
