Inside the factory

Production unit
Rugs are woven from 100% recycled plastic across a 6,000 sq m production unit, with 90+ weaving machines.

Packing and loading
A dedicated packing and container loading unit. Rugs are packed ready for the shelf, including retail-ready display units.

How the factory is run
The factory runs two plants in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, under one plant manager. Every department has its own dedicated team, so nothing is left to chance between design and shipment.
Our own team in India works alongside them. Our QA lead works with the factory on every production run and reviews the inspection report before goods ship.
Each department follows set processes and records its work, so every order can be traced and checked. The factory operates under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems and a SMETA / SEDEX audit, and is GRS and OEKO-TEX certified.
- Production: rugs are made to the approved sample and specification, with our QA lead working with the factory on every run.
- Quality control: every shipment is inspected against agreed standards, and the inspection report is reviewed before goods ship.
- Packaging: packed to your approved specification, including retail-ready display units, with a loading report for each container.
- Documentation: SKU and component breakdowns, commercial invoices, packing lists and bills of lading prepared for every shipment.
- Design and sampling: samples and design cards are approved before production and kept as the reference for each run.
- Operations and sales: our merchandising team and a dedicated sales lead follow each order through to delivery.

Designs that are protected
Our production designs are registered with the UK Intellectual Property Office and protected where possible. About 60% of new designs each season are trend-curated by our design team.
